Objectives

Programme Objectives

• To develop an integrated, comprehensive and feasible Inclusive Provincial Information Society    Strategy and Development Model for the provinces of Limpopo and Northern Cape, these    experiences and best practices will be leveraged to the other provinces in South Africa and    possible SADC countries.
   

• To create an enabling environment conducive to building a sustainable technology-related business    sector within the provinces.
   

• To create awareness around the socio-economic benefits of innovation and technology for the    purpose of promoting and attracting ICT-related investment into the provinces.

This will enhance the delivery and implementation of the provincial growth and development plan for poverty reduction.
